Webberville Area Information
The Village of Webberville was incorporated in 1871. They wanted to name it Leroy but since there was another village in the state called Leroy they changed it to Webberville after Hubert Webber.

The Village of Webberville is located in eastern Ingham County, 20 miles east of Lansing. Positioned right off I-96 and along M-43, Webberville is easily accessible for travelers. Webberville has approximately 1,500 residents, which creates a small town atmosphere. Residents are encouraged to browse town's website and see all that Webberville has to offer!

Webberville has easy access to US-96, Route 43, Route 52 and Grand River Avenue. To the west of Webberille is Williamston and East Lansing. To the east is Fowlerville, Howell and Hartland. To the south is Stockbrige and Saginaw is to the north.

Demographics

Webberville is a village in Leroy Township, Ingham County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 1,272 at the 2010 census. The village is just southeast of the junction of M-43 and M-52 with I-96. It is about 5 miles southeast of Williamston and about 20 miles southeast of Lansing.

As of the census of 2010, there were 1,272 people, 508 households, and 352 families residing in Webberville. The population density was 695.1 inhabitants per square mile. There were 573 housing units at an average density of 313.1 per square mile. The median age in the village was 35.6 years. 26.4% of residents were under the age of 18; 8.1% were between the ages of 18 and 24; 28.5% were from 25 to 44; 27.7% were from 45 to 64; and 9.2% were 65 years of age or older. The gender makeup of the village was 49.6% male and 50.4% female
